Give Hope – Donate

At HHS, every dollar makes a difference. With no physical shelter, we rely on foster homes, volunteers, and generous supporters like you to rescue, heal, and rehome abandoned and neglected animals.

Your donation provides food, medical care, and a second chance at life for animals in need.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill organization, Hickman Humane Society operates solely through the generosity of our community. We are not affiliated with the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the ASPCA, or any federal funding sources. Instead, we rely entirely on local support to continue our lifesaving mission.

Our Funding Comes From:

  1. DonationsContributions from compassionate individuals and businesses sustain our rescue efforts.

  2. Adoption Fees: Help cover the cost of medical care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services.

  3. Fundraisers: Community events and campaigns provide essential funding for our programs.

  4. Grants & Sponsorships: Support from local businesses and charitable foundations enables us to rescue and rehabilitate more animals.

Every dollar donated directly impacts the lives of homeless and neglected pets in Hickman County, ensuring they receive the shelter, medical care, and love they deserve. The best way to make a difference in your community is by supporting local rescues like HHS.

Your generosity saves lives—thank you for being part of our mission!🐾

Shane, deaf puppy

Shane, a deaf puppy, was found as a stray and one of our volunteers decided to foster. Shane learned hand signals for sit and come. Our volunteer leashed trained, and he learned  the trick to lay down. Shane was adopted and continues to do training.
