Become a Foster Parent

Fosters provide a temporary home for pets in HHS’s care while they are awaiting their forever home.
Foster homes help animals transition from the stress of being abused or homeless

Assist Medical Team

Help ensure our rescues receive the best care!
Volunteers are needed to assist with intake vetting, check on foster animals with medical needs, and support our rabies clinics held 3-4 times a year.
Whether helping at events or visiting fosters, your efforts directly impact the health and well-being of our animals.

Assist Animal Welfare (AWI)

Our Animal Welfare Investigators (AWI) work closely with law enforcement to check on at-risk animals, intervene in hoarding cases, abuse situations, starvation, and puppy mills, and ensure pets receive critical medical care.
Your support helps us protect the voiceless.

Support Phone Team

You’ll play a crucial role in helping animals by returning calls, gathering accurate information, and connecting the right volunteers to each request.
Whether it’s an animal in need, a foster inquiry, or an adoption question, your compassion and communication make a difference.

Animal Transportation

Be a lifeline for rescue animals by transporting them to vet appointments, foster homes, adoption events, or rescue partners.
Whether it’s a short local trip or a longer transport, your time behind the wheel helps save lives and gives animals the chance for a better future.

Pick-up/Drop-off Donations

Picking up and dropping off essential supplies like pet food, blankets, and medical items provide lifesaving support for our rescues and foster families.
A little time on the road makes a big difference for animals in need!

Assist Fundraisers & Events

Support fundraisers and adoption events by helping with setup, greeting guests, assisting with pets, and spreading awareness about our mission.
Whether it’s a bake sale, raffle, or adoption day, your energy and passion help us raise funds and find loving homes for rescue animals.

Help our adoptable pets shine by capturing their personalities through photos and videos!
