Affectionately nicknamed “Dottie” by her foster family, this two-year-old, 40-pound sweetheart has a personality as big as her heart. She’s eager to please, sits on command, and walks beautifully on a leash. She adores people of all ages, making her a wonderful companion for both kids and adults. Oakley’s journey hasn’t been an easy one. For months, she outwitted rescuers while roaming the county with her litter of puppies. She was fiercely protective, ensuring their safety at all costs. But her story took a turn for the better when a compassionate woman patiently gained her trust, offering Oakley and her pups the safe haven they desperately needed.

Now, Oakley’s puppies have all found their forever homes. It’s her turn.

Oakley longs to be an indoor dog, curled up on the couch beside her favorite person, soaking in the love she so deserves.
